Hi, I am Filipa, a communication designer and illustrator that always enjoyed creating things with my own hands, especially unique gifts for my family and friends.

Back in October 2021 I designed and crafted a name sign for my son. I was still pregnant but I already wanted to do something ours, something personalized and that he would forever know it was made specially for him.

Later, as a gift to my own mum, I created a letter pendant and some earrings. I used the same concept I developed for the name sign - Create letters with a single line covered in cotton thread.

I never thought about selling my work, but, in 2023, after some friends and family requestes, I started to realized that I could actually spread my love and craft with the world, and so Thready was born :)
